Innovation Tackle proudly supports local game fishing boat “OUTRAGE” from Lake Macquarie Game Fishing Club. Skipper and Owner Chris O’Toole and crew fish mainly off the continental shelf off Swansea but also travel up and down the coast competing in many tournaments out of probably one of smallest boats in the fleet a 17ft Haines Hunter. Chris tests and uses quality game fishing tackle supplied by Innovation Tackle every season. 

Some of Chris’s achievements on “OUTRAGE” include: 

• The capture of 552kg tiger shark on 24kg line 2008 Season.

• 3rd Place Lake Macquarie Bigfish Bonaza Boat Capture 2008 Season.

• Caught & Released 16 Marlin in 2007 Season Black, Striped and Blue Marlin.

• Released a Blue Marlin over 250kg 2007 Season.

• Champion Boat Lake Macquarie Game Fishing Club Capture 2007 Season. 

• Hard Luck Day Fighting a 500kg Mako after a long battle broke free 2007. 

• Won Capture Lake Macquarie Shark & Game fish Tournament 2001 Season.

• Won T&R for the most sharks Coffs Harbour Hot Current Tournament 2001.

• Runner up Capture Coffs Harbour Hot Current Tournament 2002. 

• The capture of a World Record Whaler Shark 335kg on 15kg line 2002 season. 

• Won the prestigious Golden Lure Tournament at Port Macquarie 1998.
