Brief History

I started Game fishing at the age of twelve, catching an Australian Record Tiger Shark on my very first trip (289kg or 635lbs on 15kg line). From that point on, I had the bug. I started skippering my own game fishing boat at the age of 17 on both a competition – tournament level. My real success was the landing of a 395.5kg (870lbs) Mako Shark, on 24kg line, out of my 17ft trailer boat.

Another highlight was catching the most Marlin in a season, fishing inshore grounds out of a trailer boat. My most memorable moment was catching a Broadbill Swordfish on 6kg line, fishing inshore grounds. From there, I worked in the Whitsunday's, off the Queensland coast, as Charter Skipper putting anglers on to their first fish. I then worked Port Stephens on corporate boats catching anglers their first Marlin with a stand out of seven (7) Marlin in one morning's fishing from 100-150kg (250-330lbs).

My other passion is breeding Indian Ringneck Parrot Mutations, these striking birds constantly amaze all those I introduce them to.
